Media Planner/Buyer

BRUNNER is an integrated marketing agency with a fast-paced, creative environment. We love big ideas and are looking to add new talent to our team. We are searching for a Media Planner/Buyer to join our Atlanta office.  This person will oversee day-to-day agency performance and agency/client relationships of assigned accounts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for planning, buying, executing and management of B2B and B2C media campaigns (Broadcast, Digital, Mobile, Print, Social and OOH).
  • Present media recommendations to executive-level client leaders
  • Develop strategically appropriate media approaches for clients
  • Ensure that client relationships continue to be strengthened by quality of deliverables and client satisfaction with the work
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of client business, from current and historical perspectives
  • Demonstrate to clients how proposed media solutions will show expected return on investment with company
  • Maintain solid working relationships with clients, media partners, and internal teams
  • Track expenditures to ensure agency and client budget compliance
  • Monitor, track & optimize digital campaigns on a monthly basis
  • Work with internal teams and outside sales reps to resolve media billing issues
  • Perform day to day ad placement, scheduling and updates for clients
  • Work with 3rd party server and internal team for digital trafficking
  • Recommend/execute necessary modifications to plans
  • Evaluate media proposals and provide written POVs
  • Negotiate, execute and maintain approved added value programs/components
  • Create and update monthly budget reports for account teams
  • Develop results analysis reports for clients/account teams
  • Monitor buys and manage make-goods, optimizations and revisions as necessary
  • Manage billing reconciliation, discrepancies and monthly budget reports for key accounts

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • 4+ years media experience
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, MBA or equivalent business experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster optimal relationships
  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills and detail oriented
  • Strong knowledge of end to end media planning/buying process for both traditional and online media (ie: research, application of findings, planning/negotiating media, buying process, etc.)
  • Knowledge of media resources including MRI, Scarborough, R&F, online planning tools, Strata, ComScore, Kantar, Google Analytics, etc.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks to completion within established deadlines
  • Proficiency with ad serving tools and online ad trafficking experience

ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Normal office environment. Ability to sit for extended periods of time including extensive use of PC equipment.
